Keeping it under wraps

Sweden. 24th February 2026.

For now that is almost all I am giving away.

Mrs P and I landed in Sweden yesterday. Apart from the fact we start skiing north properly on or around the first of March I am keeping the exact details and route under wraps for now. Last year’s debacle is still rather fresh in my memory when a promised forty days turned into just four.

So, what can I tell you?

We flew into Stockholm (we actually never left the airport) and were there long enough to catch up with two lovely friends who I haven’t seen for 10 years. Particularly lovely as they bought us dinner. Perhaps we look underfed?

I can also tell you that It is quite a journey to our start point, involving two internal flights on small planes (Fokker 50’s for any plane nerds out there).

But no snacks!!!

It is still the depths of winter here in Sweden and where we are going winter lasts well into April. So no need to worry about us running out of snow.

What else am I prepared to share? Hmmm! Well, there will be skiing and pulky will make an appearance as will snow. For now, I hope that is enough to wet your appetite
